Meet the finalists for the Distributed Design Awards 2021

For the fourth edition of the Distributed Design Awards, we have received more than 70 incredible submissions, all of them inspiring and thought-provoking responses to the Distributed Design concept. At the end of June, the winners will be announced, recognizing the most innovative, supportive, and sustainably designed projects across Europe, the core principles of Distributed Design. After the second round of selection, we would like to present the 12 finalists below.

A guest jury is now selecting the winners in the categories Future Thinking, Responsible Design, Adaptable and Open Design, and Project Excellence Award.

This year’s jury, completing the last round of the selection process, is made up of Nadya Peek (HCDE), Guillaume Charny-Brunet (SPACE10), Liza Chong (The Index Project), Primavera de Filippi (Berkman Klein Centre, Harvard), Daniel Charny (Forth) and Indy Johar (Dark Matter Labs).
