It’s time to reveal the finalists for the fifth consecutive edition of the Distributed Design Awards! We have selected 15 finalists from the most innovative, supportive and sustainably designed applications. The jury was impressed by the dedication to the distributed design principles and happy to see so many responses to the post-industrial design paradigm. Thank you to everyone who participated!
This year’s jury is made up of international distributed design experts on each assessing round, representing 16 high-profile cultural and design institutions in total, these are Pakhuis de Zwijger, P2P Lab, Re:Publica, Happy Lab Vienna, Danish Design Centre, Innovation Centre Iceland, Maker, Espacio Open, Polifactory, Politecnico Milano, Ars Longa – Fab City Store, Fab Lab Budapest, Open Dot, Plitécnico de Lisboa, MAO, Fab City Foundation and Design & Crafts Council Ireland.
All the winners including the people’s choice award will be announced on September 2nd.
