About the project
ImPOTsible ceramics is a ceramics studio founded in 2021 by Eulàlia Naveira and Georgina Konstantakopoulou. Emerging from the mixture of their experiences in the fields of art and ceramics, imPOTsible ceramics builds its research on the dialogue between art, crafts and nature, creating garden accessories with sculptural form and presence.
The project ImPOTsible Ceramics focuses on exclusive handmade ceramics for plants, made with traditional materials. It has a B2B approach for sectors such as interior design, architecture and culture, and B2C focus for people who love art and design.
The aim of Eulalia Naveira and her partner Georgina Konstantakopoulou is to establish a new production and distribution model that enables the availability of designs for people and businesses. This new approach will not only allow a smaller ecological footprint, but also a significant reduction in manufacturing costs.
Project’s approach
With imPOTsible ceramics Eulàlia Naveira and Georgina Konstantakopoulou want to continue the tradition where ceramics have provided solutions to the needs of humanity throughout history. In their work they wish to reawaken ancestral values that have been forgotten due to the mass manufacturing of objects, thus degrading our relationship with them. They want to stimulate the curiosity of their clients through their connection with the imPOTsible ceramics.
About the artists
Eulàlia and Georgina are two artists with different backgrounds who found common ground in ceramics. The two studied Fine Arts and met in 2012 in a shared space for artists in Barcelona. After several collaborations on different projects, they discovered that they had the same work concept and the same tastes and preferences, which led them in 2021 to make the decision to launch their own project, imPOTsible ceramics.
