Located in the northern Philippines, Vivistop Baguio is a prototyping and innovation studio equipped with various tools, materials, and technologies that enable the youth of all backgrounds to design, experiment, and create projects across multiple disciplines. Crew members mentor and guide the youth to make their ideas into reality.

Core programs are foundational to Vivita’s identity, reflecting our commitment to impactful, long-term initiatives. These programs are designed to deliver deep, transformative experiences and culminate in major projects that showcase the skills, creativity, and innovation developed over time.

MOBILE MAKERSPACE

Every great innovation starts with a spark. Through our Mobile Makerspace program, we introduce communities to the transformative power of hands-on innovation. But we don’t stop there – we work with local partners to establish permanent Vivita Makerspaces that become thriving centers of youth creativity, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation.

Our mission is to provide Filipino youth with accessible makerspaces, tools, and mentorship that develop their capabilities as makers, innovators, and problem-solvers.

Our Mobile Makerspace brings our activities across the Philippines to reach and empower the youth, fostering young creatives beyond Vivistop Baguio. Since 2022: 16 events, 10 cities, 1,700+ youth visitors.

MAKE IT! MARKET

Our MAKE IT! MARKET program turns 8-15 year-olds into entrepreneurs. Participants go through an incubation weekend with workshops on product development, branding, pricing, and pitching, culminating with a market day 2 weeks later. Since 2022: 7 runs, 50+ participants and over P150,000 in gross sales.

VISTA

A dynamic acceleration program for children aged 8-17, transformin ideas into prototypes to cultivate the innovative problem solvers of tomorrow. Outputs include a smart walking cane for the visually impaired and an anti-corruption app for the government and civilians.

About the approach

We offer a diverse range of programs including workshops, long-term initiatives, community events, and educator immersions. These cater to young Filipinos, local communities, educators, and the general public. We provide meaningful experiences that foster innovation, creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and entrepreneurship among the Filipino youth in a playful and nurturing environment. Passionate about working with youth, Vivistop Baguio’s team brings a wealth of experience in fields like design, fabrication, film, theater, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, crafting, organizational development and social entrepreneurship.
