HALLE cups

A playful approach to designing an everyday object. Minimalist cup bodies based on precisely curved silhouettes are paired with different handle variations. Replacing traditional plaster carving methods with 3D-printed master moulds has allowed experimentation with a wide range of shapes in a shorter time. The project complements the traditonal craft processes with digital fabrication to achieve on-demand manufacturing. Finally, the user can choose from a more colourful range of products.
