About the project
Anselma started in 2010, primarily as a provider of tailoring and sewing courses. The offer quickly expanded and began to become a meeting place for artists, designers and makers, as well as the general public interested in these fields. In 2018 “Made in Anselma” house brand is launched. An evergreen, gender-neutral clothing line made from scrap, old, vintage fabrics, collected primarily from former seamstresses and smaller failed manufactories from the former Yugoslavia.
About the approach
Anselma plays a major role in connecting and networking people with similar interests and hobbies, it serves as a small incubator for individual artists and makers and is established as the first address for questions about textile-related projects. It collaborates with various groups, organizations and individuals, primarily from the fields of art and culture.
