About the project

SQUARELY brings the element of nature to any space in wooden, Nordic planters. It’s modularity allows playful arrangement and a long-lasting solution where parts can be replaced or added. SQUARELY produces sustainably by recovering local resources: upcycled plastic candy containers and excess FSC wood from the furniture industry.

With SQUARELY, I want to share my vision of greening our cities, invite more people into this movement and at the same time build an awareness of conscious sourcing. I want to inspire people by showing that it is possible to make good quality, design products with up-cycled resources.

SQUARELY plant boxes are designed and manufactured for an easy assembly and disassembly at any stage of use. This allows the replacement of parts to keep the full functionality and value of the product for many years and allows local tailoring. Each SQUARELY planter is a module that can be used in multiple ways with the use of accessories: hanged on the wall/railing, elevated on stands, or put on the window sill/ directly on the pavement. This innovative, modular thinking allows the end-user to play with design and adjust it to the specific space and the season.
