Berglind Snorra is a goldsmith and a furniture and product designer. She studied gold and silver design with the prestigious goldsmith Snorri Sigurðsson and graduated in 2003. During 2004-2007, Berglind accomplished a BA (Honours) degree in Furniture Design and Related Products at Sheffield Hallam University in England.In 2006, Berglind lived in Prague and studied at the Academy of Arts and Design institution. Later that year, she received recognition for a light she designed which was entered into a design competition held by Reykjavik Energy. Her designs are powerful and bold and are characterised in strong forms and modern style. In 2007 Berglind worked at one of the leading international design companies in London, Established & Sons. Today she is one of the most prominent designers at Jens ehf. and Uppsteyt.
