About the project

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, I enrolled in a BTS Product Design program at Roubaix (E.S.AA.T), where I discovered the world of design and its various specificities. Driven by curiosity, I decided to participate in the Erasmus program in two different countries, Poland and Lithuania, to gain a deeper understanding and discover new ways of thinking. Following this enriching experience, I pursued my second degree at ENSAD de Nancy. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Territorial Design and have written a thesis on collapsology. Through my writing and interviews, I aim to explore what more responsible design could be in light of the current crisis. Additionally, I have started working at La Fabrique NOMADE, where I collaborate with migrant and refugee craftsmen.

Tic-tac is the result of a collaboration with basket manufacturers from Fayl Billot, a region known for its wicker products. After 3D modeling their collection of ancient wooden molds, I created a rocking toy inspired by the peach basket mold, which had a symmetrical and simple form that served as the starting point for this project. The first phase of my work was to preserve the old French technique.
