Three projects made by POLIMI for Distributed Design showcased at Milan Design Week ’24

“INTERDEPENDENCE – designing relationships” is a design exhibition conceived and developed by Politecnico di Milano, featuring participation from 50 other universities. Aligned with the New European Bauhaus, INTERDEPENDENCE is a distributed event spanning Fabbrica del Vapore, Campus Bovisa Durando, and Salone Satellite, running from April 16 to 21.
At the Ex Cisterne space c/o Fabbrica del Vapore, the exhibition “Shaping Sustainable Innovations Through Design Practice” showcases a selection of projects created by students of the Master’s Degree in Integrated Product Design course. Among these, were selected two projects developed by Polifactory: Open Farmer Kit an OS system (by Valentino Stella, Matteo Mojoli, in collaboration with Lorenzo Silvestri and Davide Formenti), and Virgilio, the OS system awarded the Distributed Design Award in 2023 (by Martina Comola, Francesca Corona, Alessandro Mongardi, Arianna Santoro and Maximilian Schmidt).
At Salone Satellite, within the furniture fair, Circle Fermenters, an OS fermenter developed in collaboration with Polifactory is also on display (co-authors Arianna Bosco, Matteo Cappellari, Vincenzo Cassano, Elena Gasparrini, and Qianhuai Zeng).
