Theo Weywood is a creative technologist and conceptual artist whose work explores the intersection of art, technology, and open-source principles. Drawing inspiration from the public artwork of William Mitchell and the ambitious architectural projects of 20th-century Brutalism, Theo’s practice reflects a personal connection to these movements’ optimistic visions of the future. Growing up in inner-city Bristol and South London, his work is rooted in the landscapes that shaped his perspective on community and space.
Committed to the commons, inclusivity, and play, Theo designs modular, low-carbon building systems, interactive public installations, and sculptural works that blend Brutalist and Constructivist aesthetics with cutting-edge fabrication techniques. Whether developing digitally fabricated housing, rethinking play spaces, or integrating architecture and manufacturing, his work is about reimagining shared spaces and creating innovative, sustainable solutions for the future.
