About the project
Noémie Vinchon is originally from the Loiret region in France. She studied design at the Valenciennes School of Art. Her work and research received the jury congratulations. Implicated in social design, she completes her studies with two incubators and participates in urban projects in Brussels. Currently, she is a finalist in the textile design competition ‘Vitrine pour un.e designer’ where she is developing sustainable furniture for the clothing company Jules.
The ‘ Unités Gonflables ’ are a group of inflatable objects used to experiment new occupations of spaces. They consist in a repetition of light and moving elementary forms which invite the public to participate in the construction of meeting times and places. The ‘ Unités Gonflabes ’ are composed of a textile cover and an inflatable membrane. This intern membrane is made from the polyurethane cutting’s waste in the way to reduce the impact of the manufacturing process. In partnership with AirCaptif * https://www.aircaptif.com/.
