Les Petits POTes

About the project

Designed around the object of the jam jar, reminiscent of snacks, toast, grandmother’s recipes and sweet fruits from the garden, the Petits POTes project proposes to rethink the use of this object with a friendly and comforting collective imagination.

I propose to introduce our little walkers (3 to 12 years old) to the practice of picking. This project is available in various additions printed using a 3D printer that are screwed onto jam jars recycled for the occasion and that allow various elements to be collected in the forest. Thus, young adventurers can follow the recommendations for using the jars as well as invent their own use, allowing them significant freedom of expression and learning.

Reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood’s picking and Tom Thumb’s treasure hunt, Petits POTes is an incentive to walk, to discover the finds and wonders of the forest.

About the designer

A graduate in environmental design from ENSAD Nancy, I focus on environmental design and the circular economy, with a particular sensitivity to living things, matter and food. My approach is based on a systemic vision: I am convinced that it is essential to take a step back and understand the complex interactions that shape the systems in which we operate.
