The label Kairoz has let the ordinary plywood panel shine in a new light since April 2018. In the manufactory lampshades are designed and handcrafted out of this simple material. Based on organic forms from nature the lighting objects are inspired by fir cones, drops or leafs. Due to the character of the wood they give cozy indirect light and because of their individual shadowing they set special lighting accents in the room.
In loving handcraft beech, pine or poplar are furnished with oils, glazes and varnishes in a variety of production steps, thus receiving a natural and fine look. With the help of a subtle sophisticated plug system the precisely crafted individual pieces make up the final light sculptures.
