Fashion designers Lea Pauw and Noelle As created a bag collection out of old paintings. By using digital programmes as Lectra Modaris and CLO 3D, it was possible to combine handcraft and history with the digital world. Lea: ‘Once you make a cut in the painting in real life you can’t go back, but in the digital program there was space to experiment with the material before making the actual product.’
