Society’s grip on the representation and perception of the female body and skin is tightly clenched. Where venus once was the ‘ideal’ woman, new ideals continue to take her place. Beauty has been stolen from the people and sold back to them under the concept of luxury. Why do we allow the female skin and its ‘defects’ to be a product managed by the system when there’s beauty hidden in plain sight?
