Website

TMDC (Workshop for the Materialisation and Development of Concepts) is a makerspace born within Betahaus Barcelona, evolving from a small carpentry workshop into a 5000m² industrial space.

Equipped with advanced tools and machinery for woodworking, metalworking, and plastics, TMDC empowers creators to transform ideas into tangible, locally made products. Its mission is to offer flexible access to manufacturing resources for curious and hands-on makers and creatives.

How are they part of the ecosystem?

One of our most recent partner, TMDC, shares a common focus on fostering creativity, innovation, and hands-on making. As one of the entities leading digital fabrication, distributed design, and sustainable development in Barcelona, TMDC is known as part of the ecosystem for specialising flexible access to industrial manufacturing tools and resources for local production.

TMDC is now collaborating to offer, to a common network of makers, educational programmes combining digital and industrial fabrication, joint projects in Distributed Design, or resource-sharing initiatives to support makers from prototyping to manufacturing. This partnership can energise this ecosystem, promoting locally made products and strengthening makers community beyond borders.
