About the event
How do we work with circularity in fab labs and makerspaces in the future? Come and try out a design-driven tool for circularity in makerspaces with the Danish Danish Center in the Innovation Lab in Wiener Neustadt.
In this workshop, we will dive into DDC’s tool, the Circular Strategies Wheel (https://ddc.dk/tools/tool-01-circular-strategies-wheel/), and work with how to apply it in your context. The workshop will help you identify new opportunities and ideas for increased circularity in your project by looking into the different circular strategies.
The workshop is a part of a research project investigating how makers and designers can work more actively with circular strategies, aiming to have smaller negative environmental footprints with their creations and gain an increased awareness and mindset around circular economy.
The research will collect data on your knowledge prior to and post applying the tool to see the potential effects of the tool.
To participate in the workshop, it is preferable that you have some kind of project you’re working on – preferably involving hardware. No knowledge of circular economy is required!
We hope to see as many participants as there is room for – first come, first served! The workshop will be held in English!
