About the event
Digital technology is dramatically changing the way we live in cities. It transforms our consumption habits, so it affects the product design and development processes as well. In such crisis-filled times like ours, it is non-negotiable that we have to rethink the forms of consumption and production in order to live a more sustainable human life. The question is: how can the advances in digital fabrication contribute to locally productive and globally connected self-sufficient cities?
FabLab Budapest is proud to host FAB CITY Symposium, an event where all these questions can be thought through, discussed and looked from different angles. By doing so, the speakers address 3 challenges cities need to face: overconsumption, trash, social changes.
Our speakers are:
Tomas DIEZ (IAAC, DDMP):
Olivia KOTSIFA (Decode FabLab)
