Events

Not only makers and hobbyists will find a low-threshold entry into the maker scene at Happylab. Start-ups and founders can also rely on the professional machinery, co-working space, technical know-how and a supportive community to implement their ideas.

On March 10, 2023, Happylab will give insights into our 900 m2 innovation workshop in the middle of Vienna at Maker Start-up Day and answer questions about prototyping & product development. Start-ups & founders – and all those who might want to become one – are cordially invited!

Program

• MAKER START-UP DAY (Friday, March 10 2023, 5 – 8 pm):
  • Guided tour of the innovation workshop presenting local production possibilities – from metal laser cutters to 3D printing processes to professional wood & metalworking
  • Founders from the Happylab community will talk about the development process of their innovative projects
  • Experts from aws, FFG & Vienna Business Agency inform about funding for start-ups!

• PECHA KUCHA NIGHT (Friday, March 10 2023, from 8pm): Make – fail – learn – repeat! Following the Maker Start-Up Day, the “Pecha Kucha Night x Happylab Maker Start-ups” will take place at our Lab. Makers, start-ups & founders will give personal insights into the implementation of their projects – including all the failures and highlights. Learning from your own mistakes, but also from those of others, while having fun, networking and exchanging ideas – that’s the goal of this evening. Drop by! Free admission, no registration necessary!
