WHAT IFF??SOFT BOOK TO WORK SENSORY INTEGRATION WITH CHILDREN THROUGH INTERACTION
What iff? ? It is a soft book to work on sensory integration in children. Starting from illustrations that become digital embroidery with conductive thread and soft sensors that invite touch.
Sensory integration is the organization of sensory input for use. Use can be a perception of the body or the world, an adaptive response, a learning process or the development of some neutral function.Through sensory integration, the different parts of the nervous system work together so that the person can interact efficiently with their surroundings and experience appropriate satisfaction.Currently 3% of children suffer from disorders in sensory integration.Through the sensors and in an environment of observation and care both with parents and with occupational therapists or health professionals, the child can play while working on his stimuli with an object that also invites him to imagine and build his inner world through of the story and the tactile illustrations

Yes is specially design to work sensory integration in children.WHAT IFF ?? It aims to introduce the child to a story, inviting him to commit and work on the regulation of different reactions to stimuli through play. It is an object of long durability, that can be repaired and that has a high added value in the conception of it entire development. In addition to working with new technologies applied to textiles .And also offer a guided experience
- Does your design promote awareness of responsible design and consumption?
Currently the book has a manual on how it was built and how it could be repaired, I am also incorporating information on the origin of the components. My purpose is also to be able to continue developing interconnection technologies for the inegration of electronics into textiles, PCB technologies, washing process.
