My project is to explore the aesthetic potential of a new raw material made from textile waste .

Detailed Description

My project focuses on the recycling of textile waste and is based on 3 main ideas

1 > to consider the amount of textile waste generated each year (production waste or used clothes) as a new source of material supply and that can become a real new raw material.

2 > to introduce a creative approach to the recycling sector, the philosophy being to transform a low value material and give it an aesthetic value.

3 > to promote a circular process with a 100% recycled and 100% recyclable product.

More precisely, my project aims to reuse and divert the various existing techniques of non-woven fabric to generate different decorative products or furniture, but also to come back to clothing.

I started by creating vases with twist seams.
