Short Description

Mimo is a half-vase designed to serve as an extension to a food jar and transform it into a vase.

Detailed Description

Mimo is a half-vase, it's designed to serve as an extension to a food jar and transform it into a vase. It allows a better maintenance of flowers and helps in the composition of bouquets.
The model 1 can be adapted to a glass bottle with a neck of 50 mm in diameter or on a jar of 75 mm in diameter.
The model 2 can be adapted to jars with a neck of 80 mm or 100 mm in diameter.

This object is made in 3D printing in our studio from recycled and recyclable plastic bottles (r-PETG).

Mimo is an object designed to encourage users not to throw away, reuse and transform their food jars bought in supermarkets.
He also proposes to take a new look at the food jar intended to be discarded after use.

Project Details

Does your design support sustainable production, embodying circular or regenerative design practices?

Our objects are 3D printed with filaments made from recycled plastic bottles manufactured by the company "reflow" in the Netherlands. All of our designs are designed to use as little filament as possible to avoid unnecessary waste.
All our products are printed in our studio, in Paris, on demand to avoid over-stock.
The mimo project in particular also encourages the reuse of food jars.

Does your design promote awareness of responsible design and consumption?

Thanks to the materials used (recycled plastic), the design method used (3D printing), and the function of the object (reuse of a jar to be able to use the object), our mimo vase responds to the current problems that is the circular economy, local production, and the life cycle of an object.
