Our aim is to create a clothing model that is sustainable in all aspects. We believe in the Cradle-to-Cradle approach and all combined presents our core values of wholesome sustainable strategy – SUSTAIN20.
We are creating a new online platform that will be easier for users to get access to products and our services. For now, we went through many stages – we had 11 editions so far with mixed numbers of designers (local and foreign), each created a shirt – original piece – that was sustainably conscious. We had a public launching of editions and afterwards the public could sign up to wear the shirt for a period of 3 weeks. After each user passed the clean and ironed shirt in original package onward to the next user. Now our business model is changing in the details of logic, but we still encourage people to be actively involved in the process of exchanges and becoming a community of people who dress with the aim not to own but to share, express, support and experience.

- Does your design take social and cultural challenges and human wellbeing into consideration?
We are reshaping the paradigm of accessibility of high-quality designer products. We value local designers and small business brands, knowing how much the struggle in this highly competitive market and with our response to the situation we can start creating a bridge between lost consumers and designers. Having said that, with changing the position of the passive consumer into an active user, we can make sure that there will be no faulty buying, a pleasant experience and affordability of products that were deemed a luxury. We unburden the consumer and offer them unique experiences, support and encourage them to become more conscious and aware.
- Does your design support sustainable production, embodying circular or regenerative design practices?
Our aim is to create a clothing model that is sustainable in all aspects – environmental: users rent/share same items and extending lifecycle of clothes, (RE-strategies: repair, reuse, redesign, recycle, rethink), slow fashion; social: ethics, democratic design; Economic: local production, local designers, transparency; Cultural: innovation, creativity, identity – all crossed with production, distribution, presentation, consumption and post-consumption. What is more, our whole business model is created in the logic of circular and sharing economy via shirt exchanges.
- Does your design use principles of distribution and open source?
In a sense, yes. We offer our services of "renting" out the designer clothes, encouraging people to meet with other users and to connect with designers. We do not distribute, replicate or have any deals with designs itself (except for our values of sustainable design principles and consumption. But we do connect users of our services directly with the designers themselves.
- Does your design promote awareness of responsible design and consumption?
Yes, we ask people and also give them instructions, tips, offer them support and engage in conversations to become more aware and responsible. Because we only offer high-quality designer products with the sustainable conscious business model, we can make sure to be the first in line that are responsible, so our users can be too. And with the shift of making our consumers into active users, they can be more aware of their positive impact, rather than their guilt over regretable shopping or over full closets.
