3ee

Detailed Description

3ee, is an advanced biodiversity monitoring system that uses acoustic sensors to identify and classify pollinator species in the environment. Our sensor is able to carefully detect surrounding sounds, recording and analysing the frequencies in order to accurately identify the various pollinator species.

Project Details

In your project's current stage of development, how does it align with the OPENNESS value of the Distributed Design Platform?

We believe that the Open mode is essential to enable everyone to be promoters, users, and catalysts of generative innovation. Innovation that spreads through communities and makers thanks to shared and transversal knowledge. For our project, we will provide the possibility to download and position it wherever you want. This will facilitate the implementation of the software to recognize the frequency of insects, which still needs to be completed.

In your project's current stage of development, how does it align with the COLLABORATIVE value of the Distributed Design Platform?

We believe that designing for a community requires knowing its inhabitants, understanding their thoughts, and recognizing their needs. For us, collaboration is a fundamental principle of design, which should not overshadow the surrounding environment but rather include it. Engaging both urban and rural communities interested in safeguarding biodiversity will allow us to create a more complete and accurate mapping of our surroundings. This can then be used for studies and as a foundation for positive development and change.

In your project's current stage of development, how does it align with the REGENERATIVE value of the Distributed Design Platform?

Urban and rural regeneration is a firm head of our project. Indeed, 3ee aims to monitor biodiversity in order to be able to make the places where we live better places to live for other forms of life, which we often underestimate. We want to generate value through the revaluation of the pollinator system and biodiversity that surrounds us, or should surround us.

In your project's current stage of development, how does it align with the ECOSYSTEMIC value of the Distributed Design Platform?

Our project aims to establish a better interaction between humans and nature. By monitoring the biodiversity around us, we can understand what the ecosystem needs to improve and become healthier. The 3ee system connects cities, biodiversity, citizens, developers, and researchers, fostering collaboration and interaction among these groups to promote positive and conscious change in our surrounding environment.
