"T-AR" is a Open Project Design of a bench created through digital fabrication.
Detailed Description
The concept of the “T-AR” project is the “Artisanal Identity”. This idea has a license for Portuguese craftsmanship intrinsically linked to popular culture, where traditions are kept orally from generation to generation. Craftsmanship is part of the cultural identity of a people like each one of us, uniquely. It is critical to preserve art and craft activities, deserving to be treated as a sector of activity of inestimable heritage value.
To materialize this concept, a loom was developed that features tears appealing to the creativity of each of us and to the idea of personalizing ??each bench, making it a unique art piece.
The essence of this work is to create an open design, that is easy to assemble and easily personalized, in which anyone can make the design self-sufficient and automatic.
The artisanal joins the digital fabrication and prototyping, creating a richer and more personal model.

This project was designed for digital fabrication, it already contributes to a more responsible consumption since it will only be printed according to the necessary quantity, avoiding mass production.
