Innovative kinetic lamp for exhibitions, bars, etc.
This project was inspired by John Edmark works. When i saw his works i made up idea about creating animated lamp. The lamp was printed by 3d printer, material - PLA. The lamp rotates on the fan which was driven by Arduino. Every lamp was created from scratch and modeled inside 3dsMax. Under the lamp is a strobe light that flashes at a frequency of 10-20 times per second. The main secret of creating animation effect on geometry - is to locate every element of outside geometry. The lamp has dome geometry and each element is placed at ~ 137.5º the golden angle.
