Detailed Description
FI.CO, an acronym for Fingers Counting, is the pair of gloves that allows children with dyscalculia to learn, understand and memorise the mathematical tables. This project is thought for children from 7 to 10 years of age, since they start learning the multiplication table from the second grade. FI.CO is a useful tool with which children play as they learn, making it easier to memorise arithmetic calculations and multiplication tables and to relieve stress and anxiety related to homework. It is scientifically proven that finger counting can help the brain memorise better and this process is particularly useful, especially for children with dyscalculia.
The gloves have both fixed and changeable stitched numbers. The fixed numbers (from 1 to 10), that is the ten multiplication tables, are positioned on the back of the hand. On the palm of the hand there are the result of the multiplication, that are on a interchangeable layer. Of this layer there are 10 versions with the results.
