The DDMP Advisory Board

 

The Advisory Board will help to provide experience and knowledge while meeting two times a year with the members of the platform, and might also participate in other events organised by DDMP.

 

Indy Johar

-

is an architect, co-founder of 00 (project00.cc) and a Senior Innovation Associate with the Young Foundation and Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield. Indy, on behalf of 00, has co-founded multiple social ventures from Impact Hub Westminster to Impact Hub Birmingham and the HubLaunchpad Accelerator, along with working with large global multinationals & institutions to support their transition to a positive Systems Economy. He has also co-led research projects such as The Compendium for the Civic Economy, whilst supporting several 00 explorations including the wikihouse.cc, opendesk.cc.

 

Primavera De Filippi

-

is a permanent researcher at the National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS) in Paris, a faculty associate at the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, and a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute. Primavera is a member of the Global Future Council on Blockchain Technologies at the World Economic Forum, and co-founder of the Internet Governance Forum’s dynamic coalitions on Blockchain Technology (COALA). Her focus lays on legal challenges raised by decentralized technologies, with a particular focus on blockchain technologies, where Primavera is investigating new technologic opportunities to enable new governance models following the concept governance-by-design.

 

Carla Camilla

is a creative and cultural entrepreneur with a passion for people, radical ideas and meaningful design. The common denominator for everything she does is her wish to develop projects, businesses and communities that leads to positive change. “The Rebel Way” is about unleashing the full potential of companies, communities, and people. Carla is leading different cultural design studios such as  ArtRebels, Rebel Agency, Trailerpark Festival, Made in Space and SPACE10, a future living lab in the heart of Copenhagen creating opportunities for people to live more meaningful and sustainable. 

 

Daniel Charny

-

is a curator, consultant and educator with an enquiring mind and an entrepreneurial streak. He is co-founder of From Now On and FixEd (fixing.education) the home of Fixperts and FixCamp. He is member of the VARI advisory board and Professor of Design at Kingston School of Art. His Project "From Now On" is developing practical ways for people to engage with ideas.  Together with different people from creative and cultural sectors From Now on encouraging people to think about their changing world and how they can help to shape it.

 

Nadya Peek

-

develops novel fabrication machines at MIT's Center for Bits and Atoms. With her great knowledge in machines and digital fabrication she is an active member of the global fab lab community and a board member of the Open Source Hardware Association. Her work of making machines that make almost anything, Nadya focusses on unvonvenctional digital fabrication tools, small scale automation, networked control systems, as well as advanced manufacturing.

 

Liza Chong

-

heads the strategy and program development at INDEX. She has a blended background in strategy, project management and implementation. In INDEX she leads the 'Design to Improve Life Investment' program, an acceleration program that works with design entrepreneurs and impact investors in realising sustainable solutions to global challenges. Liza is an active advisor and mentor to individuals and organisations at the early stages of establishing their social businesses.
