The Distributed Design Challenge Exhibition will show the results of a workshop at Tala Studios’ new headquarters. Come and see what up and coming designers, working with new materials and new manufacturing paradigms, have created for Tala’s uniquely beautiful low energy bulbs.
Design and the designer’s role is evolving and adapting to a new digitized world. Distributed Design is a new approach to manufacturing in the city which challenges how goods are produced and how customers relate to their products.
The Distributed Design Challenge 2018 celebrates and supports the rise of distributed design: recognising the innovative and disruptive potentials as well as its societal and environmental impact.
